Dr. Bill Neumann, DVM, ABVP received his DVM degree from the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. He is the Medical Director for Broad Ripple Animal Clinic, and he has a special interest in minimally invasive procedures such as ultrasound diagnostics, flexible and rigid endoscopy. In 2011, he became a boarded specialist. He is one of only a handful of veterinarians in central Indiana to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, Specialty Canine and Feline Practice. He pursued this accomplishment so that not only he, but the entire Broad Ripple Animal Clinic, will continue to grow professionally and stay current on the latest veterinary information.

Bill and his wife, Debbie, have two daughters, Allie and Sarah, and a son, Jacob. The Neumann family lives in the Indianapolis area with their cats Beezus and Tyler (domestic shorthairs) and Tripp (Terrier mix) and Penny (Miniature Pinscher mix). Dr. Neumann’s favorite thing to do is spend time with his family, whether it be a family vacation or just pizza and a board game. He also enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and birding. He is an avid sports fan and follows college and professional sports. His favorite teams are the Colts, Pacers, and the Purdue Boilermakers. He also plays recreational sports and coaches his kids’ soccer teams.

Dr. Neumann’s philosophy of veterinary care: “I enjoy veterinary medicine because I not only get to see and help the animals that we love, but also teach and talk to the people that care for them. I believe teaching and compassion are important in pet care. Compassion is needed for both pets and their owners, and educating pet owners about their pets and their pet’s problems is the cornerstone of quality care.”
