Dr. Jean Cruse DVM
Dr. Jean Cruse graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. She graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in biology from Blackburn College in 2010.
Dr. Cruse grew up in the Chicago suburbs and like most young animal lovers, was always surrounded by animals. During college she began exploring the world of veterinary medicine by holding a variety of positions within veterinary clinics. The excitement of helping animals and their owners got her hooked and her career path was laid. The Chicagoland native relocated to Indianapolis in 2014. She now lives here with her husband, Crickett; her three dogs, Clyde, Ferguson, and Jeb; and her cat, Fry.
In her free time, Dr. Cruse enjoys entertaining friends, cooking and baking, reading, and gardening.
Her special interests include surgery, ophthalmology, and preventative medicine.
Dr. Cruse’s philosophy on veterinary medicine: “This career provides me with a unique and rewarding opportunity to preserve and foster the human-animal bond that is so important in so many people’s lives. Being entrusted to care for the four-legged family member is a responsibility I am honored to share. My goal is to provide a high quality of care for each pet as if they were my own.”
