Dr. Allison Jones received her DVM degree from the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and minored in animal behavior and Spanish from Indiana University. During her undergraduate and graduate degrees, Dr. Jones was able to study abroad in Costa Rica where she learned about wildlife conservation and Chile where she externed at one of the veterinary colleges there.

Dr. Jones grew up about 10 minutes from BRAC and was eager to move back to the Indianapolis area after graduation to be near her family and friends and enjoy local events like Indy Fringe and Indianapolis Indians games. She is excited to join the team at BRAC helping to care for patients in her hometown.

She lives with her husband, Hunter, and her two dogs – Tatie (Tater tot), a black English lab, and Remy, a border collie mix. In her free time, Dr. Jones loves to read, hike, bike the Monon Trail, and play tennis – anything to get her outside. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling.

Dr. Jones’ professional interests include dermatology, internal medicine, surgery, and nutrition. Her philosophy on veterinary medicine: “This career gives me the special opportunity to provide the highest quality care to your four-legged family member while also making it a positive experience for them. To me, preventative medicine is the forefront of our job as it allows us to detect disease before our patients begin showing any signs or symptoms. This early intervention allows our patients to live longer, healthier lives.”
